Celebrating Pride

· #thesupperbookessay ·

Love, associated with wildflowers and rainbows, accompanied with strings and songbirds, has been the belief set as a child. Although, stories of love tend to forget the part where it's also the falling of the heart, the tears that you keep to yourself, and the longing to be with someone only to be told not to. Having to face all of those feelings alone is painful, but knowing that you're not the only one facing all those pain is something else.

The sudden warmth that you feel in your heart as you hear someone telling their side of the story of love, and that breath of relief that you didn't know you let go, is an indication of love. It's the feeling of knowing that you're not alone, and that it is okay to feel pain as you go through moments of love, whether it be a "happily ever after", or just a chapter that you have to pass through. And all of that happened in the celebration of pride.
